Frugal Children’s Party
If you think children’s party is cheaper than any other parties then you’re wrong. Sure, it may not be as grandiose as debut or coming out parties, but it is more delicate because it involves children. These little people as guests require an utmost care from the host.
Because of their young and delicate tummies, the food has to be child-friendly. So you must prepare healthy, easy to digest, and simply scrumptious foods. The decors have to be safe, too. You don’t want these kids tripping over objects and what nots in the venue. And most importantly, entertainment has to catch their attention. Kids are easily bored so you better have interesting games, clowns if you can borrow money for it, and exciting prices.
But if you’re on a budget, you may think that this kind of party is hard to execute. But don’t worry; I have frugal tips to share with you. Just because you’re strapped for cash, doesn’t mean you can’t have a fun party for the kids. In terms of frugal but fun games, here are what you can do:
Make Your Own Balloon
If you had the money, you could hire a clown to make animal balloons. But it would be more enjoyable if you allow kids to get their hands on the action. Provide them with balloons and make them create their own inflated animals. You’ll be surprised at how funny this activity could turn out.
Funniest Face or Funniest Walk
Kids love the sight of a comedic face or a clownish walk. So have a contest of the funniest face or the funniest gait. Naturally, the face or walk that gets the loudest of laughs is the winner.
All the Candies You Can Get
Have a basket full of assortments of candies. Then have the kids gather in the center. At an elevated place, shower them the goodies. They’ll be ecstatic at having to pick up lots and lots of candies on the floor. In the end, they’ll be gaily comparing their loots to one another.
There are many more frugal but fun games which you can do. You’ll realize that you don’t need to find quick money to make your children’s party an enjoyable one. Just be creative with the games and find cheaper but exciting alternatives for the prices. Besides, kids don’t have regards for the cost of a party. All they want is fun, fun, and fun.
